Deer Meat

Misugi town is disturbed by serious animal harm, the wild deer in particular. Alomost every field in the village has barriers around it. You also encounter a lot deers at the time of “Starry Night Tour” of the resort. The consumptions of Deer Meat is not rising as much as the increase in the number of deers. Misugi Resort actively consumes this Deer meat. With high level of protein and low level of calories, deer meat has an excellent beauty effect and it’s a great food ingredient. This tasty deer meat is delivered through Buffet Meal or Kaiseki Style Meal (as per the season)

Local chemical-free vegetables

Mt. Obora is a mountain towered over Misugi at the height of 1000 ft. was once active volcano. Once it was erupted and the fire got expanded till the valley near it. It is said that the valley really looked like the valley of fire and hence, the name of this place became Fire Valley. Now, there is Obora Vegetable Garden run by the local farmers on the top of the mountain. It is said that the delicious vegetables with large sugar content because of large temperature difference. Various vegetables varying according to the season can be served at the Kaiseki Meal or in the Buffet Meal.

Shiitake mushrooms, Konyaku, Makoto bamboo, Wild cabbage, Rice, River fish, Misugi town have various blessings from mountains and rivers. We offer them to you at Kaiseki Meal and Buffet according to the season.

Hinotani Beer Hinotani Bread (Baked in Stone Oven)

You can enjoy our local beer at the dinner hall, at the coffee shop on 1st floor or in the souvenir shop. The bread is served at the time of Breakfast.

This menu set does not offer a fixed menu. Using ingredients focused on local products from Misugi and Mie prefecture the menu lets you taste the real meaning of luxury. Misugi resort will prepare the most delicious food for your stay at the hotel. Delicious organic vegetables from Obora farm which are also ordered by Nariswa restaurant in Tokyo which was picked as one of the 50 best restaurants worldwide. Amago fish and freshwater strout raised in the clear streams of Kumozugawa river. Freshly cut shiitake mushroom high in neutrient values. Misugis konnyaku packed with the love of local farmerswomen Rich eggs from Misugi Mie Gibier certificated deer and boar raised in Mie’s nature Please look forward for what food is waiting for you when you come to Misugi resort. Carefully selected local A5 Matsusaka beef from cattle raised with great efforts in local meadows.

Matsusaka beef is ranked according to the unit of BMS according to the degree of marbling. When the numerical value of this unit exceeds "8", it is certified as the finest beef.Matsusaka beef is ranked with “12” which means it’s undoubtedly high quality beef. Also, even with regular A5 Matsusaka beef, the rearing period is around 25-26 months, but this area carefully rears A5 Matsusaka beef for 32 months. The feeding cost in this period is quit expensive. But the reason to take all these efforts is to bring that deep taste to the beef. And this way, A5 Matsusaka Beef overpowers in all the aspects such as its finesse of fibres, its taste etc.

Spectacular Mie Seasonal Special

Mie is a treasure house of foodstuff. We have blended the supreme food ingredients of Mie with the blessed nature of Misugi. For example, the organic vegetables which were ordered by the restaurant “Narisawa”, a restaurant which is selected as world’s 50 best restaurants, fish such as Amago Ayu which are raised in the cleanest water of Kumozugawa river, plump eggs of Misugi. Also the deers and wild boar meat. Example of foodstuff of Mie Prefecture: Matsusaka Beef of supreme quality. Typical Japanese seafood such as Ise shrimps, Awabi etc.

Mie’s special chicken “Kumanojidori” Menu of this Kaiseki is not fixed. It will be that day’s attraction.

Basic buffet dinner plan:

・Seasonal food, selected domestic beefsteak and NINJA Beer shabu shabu nabe.

・ The main menu changes according to the season so that you can taste the best food of every season.

・ Freshly cooked beefsteak and our special local beer (Ninja Beer) shabu shabu.

・ Buffet content with sashimi and all the ingredients of that particular season.

・We also have Mochi Making event.

・ Buffet is of 90 mins.

・ There are chances of buffet getting cancelled. But in such times, we will offer Kaiseki style meal at the same price of that of buffet.

・Our local beer will make your best souvenir. This beer was won participation prize in National Beer Fair International Beer Cup.

・The local beer is a product selected by Mie Prefecture for Mie Selection.

・And our stone kiln baked bread containing natural yeast which doesn't contain sugar or butter. It’s delicious just with salt in it; suitable for kids or pregnant women.
